Leo is a multidisciplinary artist with a passion for theatrical and visual storytelling through directing and design. Currently a sophomore at Williams College, he is pursuing a double major in Art History & Studio Art and Theater. As a director, Leo is dedicated to deconstructing traditional Western patriarchal narratives by focusing on stories that center on the experiences of queer people of color. In the summer of 2024, he attended the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center to further his directing skills. As a set designer, Leo strives to poetically translate texts into visual spectacles, employing architectural and multimedia approaches. He has designed extensively for Cap & Bells, the student theater organization at Williams College.
